My title says it all!
The absolute worst part of this litter is how the cat urine smell stays on the litter even after being cleaned. Even with daily cleaning, my house has started to smell of urine after LESS THAN A WEEK. The litter also isn't scented as anything despite being marketed as scented, so it feels like false advertising.The tracking is less than clay litter, but at this point I'd rather have clay litter that doesn't stink up my whole house after a week. I will not be buying this again.
I decided to give this brand, VETRESKA, a try, the Cherry Blossom scented version. I have been using PIDAN brand for last year or so, and have come to really like that brand. I thought this would be similar, but unforunately, this product does not sufficiently mask the odor of cat urine, in particular. I scoop regularly, I don't let it sit long, but the way the urine reacts with this product manages to create a pungeant odor that fills the bathroom where I have the box placed and into the hallway next to it. I'm switching back to PIDAN immediately.
I didn't realize this litter was scented when I bought it, and at first it was actually kind of nice, but the litter did not absorb the smell of cat waste at all and after a couple days the fragrance became associated with the smell of cat waste and it was nauseating. We had to run the fan in the bathroom several times a day every time kitty used the litter in order to get rid of the smell of both the waste and the litter itself, it was disgusting. The litter also doesn't clump that hard, so after scooping the main clump it would still leave behind a bunch of tiny clumps that were impossible to pick up with the scooper. It also stuck to the litter box quite a bit, and yes it does track, albeit not as much as other litters. But expect to be vacuuming up tofu bits every day and keep your fingers crossed it doesn't clog your vacuum like it did mine. Switched to another brand that I am much happier with!
